Dubai Leads the World in AI Adoption: So Why Isn't It Working?

70% of people in the UAE are already using AI at work. The global average is 17%. By every measure, Dubai is well ahead of the curve, and yet something isn't adding up.

Because for all that adoption, the businesses driving this market forward are wrestling with exactly the same problem we see at the leading edge of every market we work in globally. They've committed the budget, deployed the tools and completed the pilots, and yet the vast majority of the people inside those organisations haven't changed the way they work at all.

MIT put a number on it this year, that 95% of enterprise AI pilots deliver no measurable return. From what we see day-to-day, this isn't because the technology isn't there, it's because the people inside the organisation were never really brought on the journey.

This is where our emphasis on humanising AI comes in - it's helping people within organisations to navigate change.

Before we saw this happen in mainstream industry, we experienced this firsthand ourselves. We were the first agency to successfully deploy a fully integrated agentic workforce, AI and human talent working as one team, which means we've lived the adoption curve from the inside. We know exactly where the friction lives - in the gap between a tool being available and a person actually trusting it enough to change how they work.

That gap doesn't close with better software, but it does start to close with better leadership, better communication and a change programme that treats people as the point rather than the obstacle.

We've applied this in financial services alongside a UK institution investing more than £7 million in AI transformation, and across global healthcare and pharma, two of the most regulated and risk-averse sectors in the world. We see every time that the organisations that scale AI successfully aren't the ones with the biggest technology budget, they're the ones that invested equally in the human side of the change.

The question sitting in front of every organisation right now is: Is the human side of your AI investment keeping pace with the technology?

If that question resonates, I'd love to talk.
