Leveraging the UK-GCC British Chamber Network to Navigate Supply Chain and Market Challenges

The BCCD facilitated a virtual British chambers and equivalent groups alignment call for the GCC region, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.

The forum centres on how we can better utilise this regional network to surface shared challenges and identify real opportunities for members, particularly around supply chain pressures and cross-border operations.

There is a long history of British chamber activity in the GCC, with several British business groups and equivalents recently transitioning, or in the process of transitioning, to chamber status due to the depth of UK-GCC trade ties and the continued growth of British business and expatriate communities across the region.

British businesses working in and across the GCC are connected by the British chambers and equivalents representing a collective membership of British PLCs, owner-managed businesses and expats living in the region.

“This level of connectivity is not theoretical. It is active, evolving and available for members to draw on, whether navigating disruption or exploring new routes to market. I strongly encourage members to leverage this benefit and connect with their local chamber of commerce." Katy Keenan, CEO, British Chamber of Commerce Dubai (BCCD)
