Head of Clinical Applications

The Head of Clinical Applications is a senior technical leadership role accountable for the end-to-end ownership, governance, and strategic evolution of the Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium clinical platform, Revenue Cycle Management payment and its integrated application ecosystem. This includes Rhapsody, Synapse RIS, FiveFaces Patient Portal, AI clinical initiatives (eg Ambient Listening, Diagnostic AI) and all relevant clinical applications across the organisation.

The role combines deep Millennium platform expertise with enterprise integration architecture capability, providing authoritative leadership across clinical application delivery, HL7/FHIR interoperability, ambient AI adoption, charging, patient billing and clinical data integrity.

The Head of Clinical Applications guides multi-disciplinary teams of analysts, engineers, and informatics specialists - serving as the primary bridge between clinical requirements, integration architecture, and digital transformation strategy - ensuring the organisation's clinical technology landscape is safe, high-performing, and continuously advancing.
