Regional Update – Travel Disruption and Practical Considerations

Recent tensions in the wider Middle East have led to commercial flight disruptions and route changes, creating uncertainty for travellers and businesses operating across the region.

From enquiries we are currently receiving in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, some expats and travellers are exploring alternative travel arrangements where commercial flights have been cancelled or limited. One option being considered is private vehicle transport to Muscat, Oman, where onward international flights are still be available.

International media coverage does not always accurately reflect the day-to-day situation on the ground. While the wider regional tensions are understandably unsettling, conditions within Dubai remain relatively stable, though businesses should continue monitoring developments and ensuring staff have contingency travel plans.

As often occurs during periods of uncertainty, fraud and scam activity continues, particularly targeting companies involved in international transactions or individuals attempting to arrange urgent travel.

If your organisation has staff in the region and requires local field support, verification of information, or assistance coordinating ground transport, our team can assist.
