Here is the official guidance from the UAE Government on the appropriate steps to take if you receive an emergency alert on your phone.

If you have a warning alert:

  • Head to a safe place immediately.
  • Take shelter.
  • Remain there until an official "all clear" alert is issued.

If you car in your car:

  • Continue to your intended destination.
  • Once you arrive, proceed to the nearest safe place.
  • Do not stop your vehicle in the middle of the road.

In the instance of emergancy, call 999 for police, 998 for ambulance, 997 for fire, or call 999 and ask to be redirected.
