In this article, we give you an inside look at CBFootball, sharing how we run elite training camps, host international tournaments, and create opportunities for partners and the community. We also highlight our flagship events, including the Mina Cup and the upcoming Youth to Pro, and how they’re shaping the future of youth football in the UAE and beyond.
At CBFootball, we focus on a number of different areas, two key pillars being performance and management.
Performance:
We collaborate with professional clubs and associations worldwide to deliver elite training camps, friendly matches, rehabilitation programmes, and tailored off-season or mid-season sessions for players visiting the UAE.
Each year we have a plethora of teams that we bring to the UAE for their high performance training camps, most notably in the past we have hosted Chelsea, Aston Villa, Leicester, and Ipswich Town just to name a few. We are not limited to the UAE, as we also hold camps in Europe. Such as Coventry City in Portugal this summer.
Management:
We plan, organise, and execute world-class tournaments and events, creating platforms for global exposure while building commercial partnerships for companies seeking entry into the Middle Eastern and Asian football markets.
Our flagship event, the Mina Cup, recently celebrated its 4th edition. Over the years, the tournament has welcomed British academies such as Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Norwich City and many more. With teams travelling from across the globe, the Mina Cup has become one of the most dynamic and diverse youth football tournaments in the world, drawing both international and national attention.
We also have the inaugural Youth to Pro tournament upcoming in November. This tournament is going to feature the future stars of world football. With a different U16 team from each confederation we currently have England signed up for 5 years, along with the USA. Whilst Ivory Coast and Saudi Arabia are expected to sign contracts this week. This tournament would lead into the U17 World Cup in Qatar and would give the players an idea of what to expect the year after once they come back to the Middle East to try become world champions.
Partnership Opportunities:
We work closely with brands seeking visibility in sport through sponsorships, hospitality activations, and tailored collaborations. CBFootball provides partners with access to international audiences, grassroots communities, and a rapidly growing football market in the Middle East and Asia. As we approach the 5th Edition of the Mina Cup as well as the inaugural Youth to Pro we are actively seeking partnerships to make history and join events that shape grassroots football not only in the UAE, but in the world.
We invite BCCD members to connect with us on upcoming collaborations, future tournaments and partnerships, and to be part of shaping the future of youth football in Dubai.
