We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated UK Accountant to join our growing team as a Client Manager, working with both UK and UAE clients. This is a hybrid role based in Dubai, requiring 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home and attend client meetings throughout the city.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated UK Accountant to join our growing team as a Client Manager, working with both UK and UAE clients. This is a hybrid role based in Dubai, requiring 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home and attend client meetings throughout the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK and UAE clients, acting as their main point of contact
  • Produce and review management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with both UK and UAE financial regulations
  • Liaise directly with clients, offering proactive advice and insights
  • Lead and mentor a small team of junior accountants
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Attend client meetings in person across Dubai as needed

Requirements:

  • Must already be based in UAE
  • UK qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Xero Certified Advisor with hands-on experience
  • Extensive knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations - at least 3 years experience
  • Working knowledge of UAE financial regulations, particularly for SMEs - at least 1 year experience
  • Proven experience in producing VAT returns, management and statutory accounts
  • Strong team management and leadership skills
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership
