Bahari Teas: Bringing Kenya’s Unique Tea Experience to the UAE

Welcome to Bahari Teas, a new way to Tea! Our family started Bahari in 2022, with a goal of sharing the uniqueness of tea products from our home country of Kenya. We focus on leaving our hand-picked teas in their purest form, with minimal processing, to provide the same tea-drinking experience we experience at the source. We take great pride in our family owned tea collection, offering both tea bags and unique ready-to-drink flavours in cans.

Our innovative ready-to-drink iced tea range are distributed across the Horeca sector in the UAE by Bidfood.  Our iced teas are freshly brewed from the Kenyan purple and black tea leaves, 100% natural, no preservatives, no added sugar and made with real fruit juice.  They are refreshing summer drinks with bold flavours, and can be enjoyed as a thirst quencher, cold brew tea or herbal party drink!

Our flagship product is a unique purple iced tea infusion, made with signature purple tea leaves and infused with natural pomegranate and orange flavours for a refreshing and exotic beverage.  Enjoy the goodness of antioxidants found in Kenyan purple and black tea, combined with delicious fruits, for a guilt free and health conscious indulgence.  Our other iced tea flavours include a classic peach iced tea and a strawberry and basil iced black tea.  We also have other exciting flavours in the pipeline such as a green tea mocktail and an apple and cinnamon iced tea.  Our cans are easy to enjoy on the go and provide a standout option that combines vibrant flavours, health benefits and convenience for consumers seeking a nourishing beverage experience.

Whether you’re looking for a refreshing drink to impress your guests or a relaxing moment to savour different flavours, Bahari Iced Tea is the perfect choice.  Best served chilled!  Check out a review of our iced teas on BEVNET (USA’s number one F&B podcast).

PS: Purple tea is exclusive to Kenya, grown nowhere else in the world and has 40% more antioxidants than standard green and black tea.  It was originally farmed as a medicinal products and only commercialized about 14 years ago.  It’s super rich in anthocyanins (which has anti-inflammatory effects and potential anti-ageing properties), the same antioxidant found in other purple fruits and vegetables such as purple cabbage and blueberries.
