Freda was founded in 2018 in the UK and since have grown to be the global leader for period care in hotels, corporates, spas and educational establishments.  We are launching our services in the UAE on International Women’s Day in March.

In the UK, we are proud to have partnered with a range of businesses including sports - the England and cricket Board, hotels -  Fraser Group, Malmaison and Hotel du Vin - providing complimentary period care as a room amenity. Having worked with these brands extensively, our research shows all women prefer emergency period kits in their rooms over an ear bud or a sewing kit yet nearly all would feel uncomfortable calling reception to ask for one.

Corporate offices, despite claiming inclusion at their core, are behind on period care too. Women do not want hand lotion, they want pads. Based on our research, we developed mini dispensers and corporate boxes costing under 10aed/month per woman per month.

We are as dedicated to sustainability and transparency as we are to period equity. Our pads are made from renewable materials are chemical-free and hypo-allergenic, manufactured in Sweden with 100% renewable energy with zero waste. 

We donate a portion of profits to NGOs combating period poverty, supply packages for refugees, and work with schools and corporates to advance menstrual and women’s health education.
