BCCD Launches Tech Agenda

As Dubai gears up to host Gitex and Expand North Star this month, a group of BCCD members met virtually last week for the first kick-off meeting of BCCD Tech.
In response to the rapid growth of the tech industry globally and in the GCC, this newly established working group aims to support tech companies in expanding, raising capital, and connecting with key public and private stakeholders and investors in the region.
The working group will also aim to hold strategic events to attract new members and give current members opportunities to learn about tech development in their sectors.
Khawar Mann OBE, Co-Founder and CEO of Auxilium, who will be the lead of BCCD Tech, commented “Dubai continues to attract great tech talent and has built an enviable tech ecosystem. It is important that the British Chamber of Commerce Dubai (BCCD) engages with the tech sector to expand its membership and bring this knowledge and opportunity to all its members. I look forward to working with Katy Holmes and the tech working group to create events and development opportunities for all BCCD members”
