Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our Dubai office. As a key member of our startup team, you will be instrumental in driving the development of bespoke software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the technological direction of our firm and to work on diverse and challenging projects within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications tailored to the needs of our legal services.

Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Project Management: Oversee project lifecycles, from initial requirements gathering through to deployment and post-launch support.

Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, proactively suggesting improvements and innovative solutions.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust testing procedures to ensure software reliability and performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal professionals and IT staff, to deliver integrated and effective solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar. Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, React).

Database Management: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools.

Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
