Board Directors

Emil McKenzie is the head of business development for the Progeny Groupin the Middle East and International.

He has spent the past couple of years working on the growth strategy and all commercial aspects of the business, as well as working alongside his UK counterparts to help deliver the best service for British citizens moving from the UK to other regions or planning a return to the UK after spending time abroad as an expat.

Over the past twenty years, Emil has had responsibility for looking after families, business owners and entrepreneurs; starting his career as a Financial Adviser at HSBC, before working within the wealth division for two of the pre-eminent accountancy firms in the UK, then more latterly working for an IFA business which was acquired by the Progeny Group – a multi-disciplinary professional firm in the UK. He has also supported the education and charitable community providing coaching, talks and training to schoolchildren, and encouraging philanthropy within the wealth community.

Emil lives in Dubai with his wife and two children and having spent his time supporting individuals, corporations and advising small and medium sized business owners, feels well placed to support people, families and their businesses looking to enter the region. He is also committed to working alongside his fellow board members to continue to see the BCCD go from strength to strength.
